The Tiffany torchiere uses the same lighting principle as a torch to cast the light up to the ceiling. It is basically a Tiffany floor lamp with the shade inverted to cast the light upward. They work best in a corner of any given room. They allows the light to reflect off two walls and the ceiling for a warm glowing effect. Try using two Tiffany torchieres in opposite corners of a room to create a balanced look.
