Summer is the time to open up your home and let the light in to brighten up your home and drive the gloom of winter away. Summer is beautiful and great to look at, but what do you do if your view isn’t the greatest.

Tiffany stained glass windows will allow you to beautify the light you let in while creating a work of art to look upon. Louis Comfort Tiffany got his start working in stained glass windows. In 1905 he created THE HOLY CITY which depicted St. John’s vision on the isle of Patmos. It is made of 58 panels and is currently located at Brown Memorial Presbyterian church in Baltimore Maryland.

Complementing Tiffany stained glass windows with Tiffany style lighting will complete any room. Try Tiffany table lamps, Tiffany accent lamps, or Tiffany pendant lighting with your Tiffany stained glass windows.

When Coke Cola started updating their classic taste to something new there was an uprising against the change. Coke immediately brought the old flavor back as “Classic Coke”. Both flavors have survived and some new flavors have been added over the years.

When decorating play areas with Americana style images nothing works better than the original classic Coke Cola images of the 1900’s. Tiffany created these original designs and they are still available in their original form. Tiffany stained glass windows, Tiffany table lamps Tiffany pendant lighting, and Tiffany floor lamps all in a variety of classic Coke Cola design are readily available. Combinations of these classic design bring life and fun to any decorating situation.

Here is a brief history recap for those of you not familiar with the origin of Tiffany style lighting. Louis Comfort Tiffany was born Feb. 18, 1848 in New York, New York. He became interested in glass making around 1875. His most notable early work was the floor to ceiling glass screen commissioned for the White House by President Chester A. Arthur in 1881. The interior design he created the same year for the Hartford CT. home of Mark Twain still stands today.

The unique beauty of Tiffany style lighting  is even more popular today than in his life time. There are several museum displays of his work around the world. There are many ways to help our children grow and develop. Parents place brightly colored mobiles in a newborns crib to start developing their children’s minds and imagination. Very soon they progress to brightly colored story books. As soon as possible coloring books are added to the children’s world to allow them to use and develop their own imaginations.

A great way to improve this development is with Tiffany stained glass windows. Adding a Tiffany style stained glass window to a child’s bedroom or playroom will further unlock their imagination. The Tiffany stained glass window collection ranges from real and imaginary animals to flowers and nature seines. The beauty and bright colors in Tiffany stained glass windows can take your child’s imagination to places you have not yet dreamed of. Tiffany accent lamps in all styles and themes can enhance the process. Enjoy the experience with them.

After his death in 1933 Louis Tiffany’s Long Island home fell into disrepair. Eventually a fire destroyed a great many of his favorite personal treasures including his famous Tiffany Chapel which won honours in the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. One of  Tiffany’s surviving daughters arranged for a recovery program. Many of these treasures have been recovered and restored.

These items are now on display at the Tiffany Exhibit at The Morse Museum of American Art. A tourer of this is available on UTube. Here you can see original Tiffany stained glass windows, Tiffany style lighting to include the Tiffany Chapel, Tiffany table lamps, Tiffany floor lamps and other Tiffany designs actually created and cherished by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
